The Disobedient Landscape

The Disobedient Landscape presents an exercise in reading a static territory over a Fluid Geography. It investigates the community inhabiting an archipelago of Riverine Islands between India - Bangladesh and the violence induced and legitimized by the presence of a static border. Challenging the canonical use of remote, two-dimensional, and static cartography, the project proposes an alternative community-led practice of sensing complex geophysical landscapes.
